When you use the website, we collect various types of data, some of which are provided by you as a user and some of which are necessary for the use of the website or arise through the use of the website. - Data collected directly when using the website: When using the website for purely informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. Google Ads: We use Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) as an online marketing measure to advertise our products, offers and services. The ‘Google Ads’ advertising program and, in this context, conversion tracking (visit action evaluation) serves the purpose of creating conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our adverts and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. If you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has n ot yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. It is therefore not possible for cookies to be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. Google receives personal data, including your IP address. However, we do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. Your data may be transferred to the USA and may be passed on to third parties. You can revoke your consent at any time for the future. LinkedIn Insight Tag: Our website uses the ‘LinkedIn Insight Tag’ conversion tool from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser that enables the collection of the following data, among others: IP address, device and browser characteristics and page events (e.g. page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us but offers anonymized reports on the website target group and display performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers the possibility of retargeting via the Insight Tag. Techcast can use this data to display targeted advertising outside its website without identifying you as a website visitor. Newsletter: We offer you a newsletter in which we inform you about new products, case studies and current events. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide a valid e-mail address. By subscribing to the. newsletter, you agree to receive the newsletter and to the procedures explained. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to ensure that the newsletter is sent with your consent. This involves the potential recipient being added to a mailing list. The address is only actively added to the mailing list if the confirmation is received. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers. Sendinblue is used as the newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Sendinblue GmbH. Sendinblue is prohibited from selling your data and using it for purposes other than sending newsletters. Sendinblue is a German, certified provider that has been selected in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act. Application procedure: We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. If the applicant is selected for an interview, the transmitted data will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling the admission procedure or for the implementation of the application procedure in compliance with the statutory provisions.
